Answers to the things people actually ask
Letterly keeps your progress in your browser, and some phones quietly clear site data after a week or two of not visiting. Two ways back:
If you did neither, the old identity is gone, but the game works fine from a fresh start. Save a restore code this time; it takes five seconds.
Answers are checked by an AI, and it makes mistakes, especially with brand names, slang and regional words. Nothing you can do changes that day's score, but if it keeps rejecting something that is clearly valid, tell us the letter, the category and the answer and we will look at it.
Your device lost its connection to the leaderboard mid-round. Tap it once; the round is sent again and counts as normal.
Check the browser has permission to notify you for this site, and that the phone is not in a battery mode that blocks background notifications. On iPhone, notifications only work once Letterly is added to the Home Screen.
Whoever creates the league gets a join code. Enter it under Settings → Friend leagues. Display names are per league, so you can be different people in different leagues.
On the device: Settings → Reset all data. On the server: see the privacy page, which explains exactly what we hold and how to have it removed.
Email [email protected]. Say which device and browser you are on, and if it is about a specific round, the date.
Letterly is made by one person, so replies come from a human, usually within a couple of days.
